The Figaro Awards 2024 close the participation!

The Figaro Awards are preparing for a catwalk full of creativity and talent with a remarkable international participation. In total, 149 collections have been received, of which 32 come from abroad. Seventy-one firms have participated, of which 53 are Spanish. In this edition, 12 countries are represented, highlighting the participation of leaders in the fashion world such as the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, New Zealand and Canada, among others.

Madrid, 13 June 2024 - The category with the highest participation was once again the Women's Commercial Collection with 39 collections presented, followed by the International Category with 32 collections presented.

In the Spanish Student of the Year category, which aims to highlight the work of Spanish training centres and the effort they make to prepare future hairdressing talents, 10 pre-nominees have been selected from all applicants. The rest of the entries are divided as follows: 27 in the Men's Commercial Collection, 20 in the Avant-garde Collection, 16 in the New Hairdresser and 5 in the Spanish Hairdresser of the Year, the main category of the competition in which it is only possible to participate with one pre-nomination. It is worth remembering that all the finalist collections will also participate in the Fígaro Catwalk category, which recognises the overall staging. 

The Figaro Awards gala will be held on Monday 21 October 2024 at the Salón Look IFEMA MADRID.
